GJSMusic Works, founded in 2009, is the online home for the original and collaborative works of accomplished ASCAP writer, producer, and performer Gregory James Smith. Though a lover of live performance, Greg is most at home in the studio, and over the past 20 years as a professional audio engineer and studio owner in Philadelphia, has been blessed to be able to work with all types of amazing artists; many talented people working in ranging styles of music, which has freed him to drive in many different musical and artistic directions.

The hallmarks of his work? Clean live sound, synergized with atmospheric programming, and backed by sharp drums and beautifully layered vocals. And the pride as a boutique production house of working closely with clientele to assure their total satisfaction with the process as well as the end product. All this drummed out into the universe in a peaceful and engaging environment.

With their large library of original, high quality production and sample free music, and an eye on expansion, GJSMusic divided their operations between cities with a move of their recording studios to Chicago in March of 2011, continuing to create custom soundtracks for Modern Dance, Film, TV, Advertising, Gaming and Web usage, along with their steady diet of diverging projects.
